Youth Engagement
One of Sabra’s most impactful contributions is the Jr. Car Builders Apprentice Program, now in its 12th year. This transformative initiative introduces high school students to the rewarding opportunities of a vocational aftermarket career. Beyond that, it serves as a beacon of hope and skill-building for ex-offenders seeking a fresh start and veterans coping with post-traumatic stress. Through the therapeutic and creative process of car restoration, participants not only gain technical skills but also rediscover purpose and confidence.
“On the one hand, if we don’t train others the craft, the industry will cease to exist… On the other hand, teens need a safe place to go after school. I am just doing what God told me to do”-
